ABOUT US

About Us

EJ Therapy strives to provide opportunities for children to experience success, increase self-confidence, and learn functional skills through active environmental exploration. In addition, we desire to assist parents and school personnel in gaining an increased understanding of their child’s strengths and needs.

Co-founders of EJ Therapy: Janine Bair and Eunice Herman.

EJ Therapy was established in 1998 between two experienced therapists desiring to provide quality Occupational Therapy services to Wayne County, OH schools. What began with three school districts in December 1998 has grown to more than 25 school districts and over 70 staff.  The expansion has also included Physical and Speech Therapy services, Audiology, TVI, Psychology, and Nursing in some of those school districts.

In May of 2008, the staff, parents, and community supported EJ Therapy in opening a clinic to provide private therapy. Now EJ Therapy has two pediatric clinics, one in Wooster and one in Canal Fulton. Both clinics offer Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy to children. Our clinics are constantly expanding with the services we are able to provide, with a recent expansion into offering feeding therapy.

Services are now available in area schools of Wayne, Holmes, Ashland, and Richland counties. Clinic-based services include private, one-on-one treatment sessions, small groups, and summer camps.
