Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate PRN Audiologist to join our team on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for an audiologist who is looking for flexibility, meaningful work, and the opportunity to support children with hearing-related needs in primarily clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for pediatric clients at our Wooster clinic location.
Interpret assessment results and provide appropriate recommendations for intervention and accommodations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech-language pathologists.
Provide consultation and training to families and staff regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, and assistive technology.
Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology
Current Ohio licensure in Audiology
Pediatric experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
School and clinic-based environments
May involve standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
Lifting up to 15 pounds may be occasionally required
Travel between locations for screenings, evaluations, or meetings
Work Hours:
