Position Overview:
EJ Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to support children in both educational and outpatient therapy environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work with pediatric patients either in a school-based setting at Madison Local Schools, in our Canal Fulton clinic, or through a combination of both depending on therapist preference and scheduling availability. The position may be structured as full-time or part-time, providing flexibility for the right candidate.
This position is idea for therapists who enjoy working with children and want the opprotunity to build experience across different pediatric therapy settings while collaborating with a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
As a Physical Therapist with EJ Therapy, you will work with a diverse pediatric caseload in a collaborative environment where mentorship and teamwork are valued. Your role will include:
Evaluating and treating a variety of physical therapy needs, including gross motor skills, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and mobility.
Developing individualized treatment plans to support each child's functional goals.
Collaborating with other therapists, parents, and area doctors/professionals
Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.
Providing education and support to families on how to address their child's physical therapy needs.
Supporting students within school environments when applicable
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Physical Therapist license or eligible to obtain one.
Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
Doctorate or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Experience:
Any level of experience welcome, including new graduates.
Schedule:
