Position Overview

EJ Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide services in both a school-based setting at Madison Local Schools and/or in our Canal Fulton clinic.

This hybrid role offers a dynamic caseload across educational and outpatient environments. The position may be structured as full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability and preference.

Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist with EJ Therapy Services, you will work with a diverse range of children’s in a supportive team environment, with good collaboration and in-person mentoring. You will have the power to make a positive impact on the lives of children by:

  • Evaluating and treating a variety of physical therapy needs, including gross motor skills, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and mobility.

  • Collaborating with other therapists, parents, and area doctors/professionals

  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.

  • Providing education and support to families on how to address their child's physical therapy needs.

  • Potential for school supervision

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Physical Therapist license or eligible to obtain one.

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

  • Doctorate or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Experience:

  • Any level of experience welcome, including new graduates.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling options available.
